The Uniqueness of Let It Ride
Let It Ride is the only casino table game (or any game, for that matter) that allows you to take back two-thirds of your bet if you don’t like the cards you are dealt. That’s right. You make three separate bets in Let It Ride, and if you don’t like the cards you are dealt you can pull back one or two of those bets before a final decision is reached.
Where else can you take back two thirds of your bet if you don't like your hand? I'll tell you — nowhere! Where else but poker can your hand be worth hundreds of times your original bet? Nowhere! But, unlike any other poker game or any other table game in the casino, you actually get to pull your money back.
Let It Ride is a fun and easy game, especially if you know and like poker. Based on whether you think you can, for example, make a three-card straight or two of a kind, you do not have to play out two of your three bets. The “excitement” of Let It Ride is that any time, if you play your cards “right” and are somewhat lucky, you can get a 1,000 to 1 payoff for a royal flush, 200 to 1 for a straight flush, 50 to 1 for four of a kind, 11 to 1 for a full house, 8 to 1 for a flush, etc. Any one of these payout's, of course, can make up for some losing hands.
Each player is first dealt three cards face down. Then the dealer deals another two cards in front of him (or her) that all players can see. If you feel you cannot improve your hand after the first community card is turned over, you can take back one bet. After the second community card appears, you can stand pat or take two bets back.
Of course there are strategies that tell you when to hold ’em or fold ’em, so to speak, based on your three cards and the dealer’s two cards.
Players love the game and have lots of fun playing it.
